ESG has exploded onto the scene in the past few years, with firms investing heavily into ESG teams internally – and looking to begin working towards a more sustainable industry. It became clear from recent discussions with our members that they’re now keen to work with the wider business to assess the role they can play in ESG implementation. – We’ve visually captured some key insights below.

To help guide the buy side along the way, we’ve invited Duncan Higgins from Sustainable Trading to join us at our London Members Meeting on 25 May. Duncan will be delivering a keynote addressing the current state of play across the buy side and the initiatives currently being pursued by heads of desk, as well as hosting a workshop on ESG implementation across the trading desk.

Alongside ESG, we’ll also be discussing data analysis, market microstructure, optimising workflows, venue selection and desktop interoperability.
