We recently ran an in-person meeting for some of our London-based, buy side community members, looking into ESG and considerations for the trading desk. Some of the key discussion points are captured below in the form of a scribe, where our members examined internal company perspectives on ESG, the implications of a trading desk’s carbon footprint, ESG criteria for broker reviews, and how the 2020 Paris Agreement and Climate Change Act can impact the trading desk in the long term.
